Among
the newcomers to the art world this season, Mexican creator Maru
Vázquez, stands out with her sophisticated and stylish work.
Her fascination with emotion was unmistakable in this quietly sensuous
exhibition, titled "A celebration for life".
On stepping into the gallery, the viewer immediately notice the
profound emotion - that makes this Mexican artist celebrate life-
coming from the 20 paintings on the walls.
Most of them in white with a splash of color, symbolized bits of
memories, varieties of human feelings with so much sensibility that
makes you feel like turning pages of the book of this artist life.
A splendid collection.

20
canvases of medium format in mixed technique gave us sample of as
this artist it celebrates that lived to almost 42 year-old. White
dominates the target with splashes of color... paintings full with
light where is reflected her intimacy, her force, her pain and her
happiness.
A very own style with a lot of intimate meanings that definitively
will sit down precedent.

What
is so compelling about Maru Vázquez paintings is the clarity
of vision with which they are made. Vázquez has sought the
essence rather than the fact of living, and has created images that
have a profound spiritual aspect. "Art is dealing with what
cannot be measured" and Maru Vázquez work is a sample
of it.
